MahaPeriyava Jayanthi 2026

Mylai Maha Periyava Anusham Trust is celebrating the 133rd Jayanthi (birth day) of Sri Kanchi Maha Periyava from 28th to 31st of this month. Every morning homam, Abishegam and Alankaram for Sri Maha Periyava is planned at the temple located at Pichupillai Street. Evening cultural programmes those include thirumurai isai, abhang bhajan, lecture discourses, vocal carnatic music concert are planned at the Maha Periyava Temple and Sri Raghavendra Swamy Kalyana Mantapam on all the days. On the Jayanthi day (31st May 2026, Sunday) a grand four Mada Veedhi procession of Maha Periyava in a well flower decorated chariot is arranged. Maha Annandhanam is planned for all these days.
